We have a 5-star luxury holiday lodge and caravan at Dawlish Warren, which is situated at the mouth of the River Exe with the English Channel.
They are located on a level site with an on-site restaurant/bar and indoor pool (opening times vary), & a children’s play area.
The level walk to a sandy beach, golf club, nature reserve and the southwest coast path passes local shops, takeaways, & a pharmacy. Sainsburys is a short drive away.
The main line train runs alongside - Dawlish Warren has its own railway station.
The Lodge that we call Peace Haven, sleeps 6 (1 double, 1 full-sized twin and a pull-out sofa bed), and is fully equipped, plus dishwasher and washing machine. There is a large decking area and patio furniture.
Additionally, as a musician I have available piano, guitars, bass etc.
The caravan that we call, Beach Haven sleeps 8 (1 double, 2 x twin and a pull-out sofa bed), is also fully equipped inside, and has decking and patio furniture.
By booking direct, considerable savings are available.
For example, a week’s holiday for 2, depending on time of year and availability, could range between £200 - £1800.
Therapeutic Holidays
Sometimes life throws us a cruel curve ball. Some days we can cope, sometimes it all gets too much.
That’s when ‘Beach Haven’ or ‘Peace Haven’ could be a lifeline.
Having beds made on your arrival, a welcome tray of tea and coffee, and if helpful, a meal, all you need bring is some food and clothes.
Therapeutic times can be mutually arranged thereby giving you time to adjust, reflect, and relax either on your own or with others, as well as receiving valuable input from an experienced counsellor who has walked many paths of heartache and managed numerous curve balls.
Supported Respite Holidays
As carers and owners of a therapeutic care home since 1985, we can offer personalised respite and educational package holidays for those with a learning disability, autism etc, and their full-time carers, if appropriate.

- No pets.
- No smoking, or vaping in the accommodation or on the decking.
- No babies or children under 3.
